a concept EP album about a beautiful naive protagonist female immigrant from overseas, who, with pinnochio-like-innocence, upon coming into to NYC (lower east side manhattan) is swept into a whirlwind of sex, parties, and drugs; a chaotic life interspersed with stale, stagnant hangover days; she is often in a daze, and has trouble separating life from fanatsy; she is misled, misinformed, dressed-up, humiliated, and mistreated by various people and in various ways; all the while she wrestles with nebulous but nagging questions about who she is, where she came from, and where she's going. the story culminates with her eventual discoverey of the root of her problems, and the nature of her being, during a nightmarish episode in which she spends hours propped up in front of a mirror, contemplating her reflection, her tearless eyes, left there by her lover/abuser, exhausted, paralyzed, and helpless, after a night of sex a cocaine... she is an inflatable doll, with a soul.

the root of her problems is that, literally, she is an inflatable doll with a soul. so picture it like the end of a twilight zone episode... she looks in the mirror at hear tearless eyes, the fog clears and she suddenly realizes after long examination, she is not human, she is not "real", she is a blow-up doll. dressed up and forced to act out other people's fantasies. from overseas = made in taiwan. but by some pinnochio-like miracle, some sick twist of fate, she is consious, semi-real... but it would leave open the question of: whether or not she really does come into being like pinnichio, comes to life and frees herself; or is it simply a metaphor all along and she was just a girl?
